The persons who are in the withdrawal and deposit counters of a bank, are mostly of clerical grades. They are responsible for accepting payments, sanctioning withdrawals, verify cheques, issue demand drafts and other banking services to customers.

Qualifications & Other Criteria

• Minimum educational requirement is a degree from any recognised

university.

• Candidates must be aged between 20 to 30 years

• Candidates must have proficiency in basic computer skills

• Aspirants have to appear for a Common Written Examination (CWE),

conducted by the GOI (....), on qualifying which, they have to appear for further interviews.

In a state capital, a clerk may earn Rs. 14,662/- a month. In other places, the salary may vary from Rs. 14,662/- to Rs. 14,842/- depending on the size of population of that place.
